"Felt, Feelings, and Dreams" (documentary)

Shot on location in Kyrgyzia by Andrea Odezynska and Georges Khamicki. “Felt, Feelings, and Dreams” celebrates women artisans taking control of their lives through the ancient craft of felt making. Currently entering Post Production.

“The Whisperer” (documentary)


A personal film about Andrea’s life changing encounter with a woman healer in the Carpathian Mountain’s of Western Ukraine. “The Whisperer” received international distribution and played at twelve film festivals, most notably the “Through Women’s Eyes International Film Festival” in Sarasota, Florida. It was Included in the Kansas City Film Festival in a sidebar of films made by women.

Introduction to filmmaking, 16mm and digital filmmaking, story structure and memorable characters for either narrative or documentary films. Editing your film for emotion, not speed.

National Endowment for The Arts, Robert Wise Foundation, Kodak Corporation, NYSCA Individual Artist Grant (2008), Honors and Awards at Hamptons and Rotterdam Film Festivals for "Dora Was Dysfuntional" (AFI Thesis Film). This was broadcast on PBS and multiple cable channels such as Bravo and Showtime.
